Battery energy storage project --Microgrid scenario
The project plans for a 20MW photovoltaic installation, and a total capacity of 16MW/28MWh for the energy storage system. It's designed based on sixteen 1MW/1.75MWh energy storage system units. Each 1MW/1.75MWh energy storage system unit consists of two energy storage inverters with an actual output capacity of no less than 500kW and two sets of 0.875MWh battery units.
Each energy storage system unit includes 2×500kW energy storage inverters and a 1000kVA step-up transformer placed within the same energy storage inverter container, while 2×0.875MWh energy storage battery units are placed within the same energy storage battery container.
The 10kV busbar of the switchyard employs a single-bus segmented wiring system, with each segment connecting 4 sets of energy storage systems. Each set's inverter has a power of 2MW and a battery capacity of 3.5MWh.
